Remember the diamonds should have a black or grayish look to them, this is normal and is caused from hand cutting, closed back diamonds, and foiling. Also if the piece has more than one stone each diamond should look different than the other, again this is a good thing and proves a handmade piece.
Although it may be a bit expensive investing in Georgian diamonds is a wonderful idea because not only will the jewelry appreciate in value you will be in the company of royalty.
